The EARTh Center is hosted by Central Carolina Community College (CCCC). CCCC is recognized as the first community college in the United States with a certified organic farm for agriculture classes, and is a leader in workforce development for ET-related industries in the NC Triangle area.

The EARTh Center is funded by the National Science Foundation Advanced Technological Education (NSF ATE) Program. NSF ATE supports partnerships between two-year institutions of higher education, other academic institutions, industry and other entities to improve the education of technicians in science and engineering.
